Better bus services are coming for Logan South

We've made changes, starting from Monday 23 February for routes 562, 563, 564, 565, 568 and 580 to deliver more frequent trips and improved access to key local destinations.

These changes are part of the Logan Growth program, which aims to strengthen public transport across Logan, benefitting Bahrs Scrub, Bethania, Meadowbrook, Holmview and surrounding suburbs.

  • This route has been realigned to include Bethania station, with all trips now following the same route so it’s easier to know where you’re going.
  • We've added 28 new trips each week to improve service frequency.
  • Sunday services will run for the first time, offering greater travel flexibility.
  • Operating hours have been extended:
    • Monday to Friday - 6:10am to 7:23pm
    • Saturdays - 7:05am to 6:21pm
    • Sundays - 9:10am to 6:12pm
  • Some journeys may take up to 15 minutes longer due to the additional stop at Bethania station.

  • This route has been extended to four new bus stops in Bahrs Scrub and now also stops at Holmview Central Shopping Centre.
  • The service doesn't stop in Bethania, including Bethania station, but continues to stop at Beenleigh and Loganholme stations. If you need to get to Bethania station you can catch route 562 instead.
  • We've added 91 new trips each week to improve service frequency.
  • Sunday services will run for the first time, offering greater travel flexibility.
  • Operating hours have been extended
    • Monday to Friday - 5:30am to 10pm
    • Saturdays - 7:05am to 10pm
    • Sundays - 8:05am to 8:56pm 

These routes have been removed, with coverage provided by upgraded routes 562 and 563. You can catch these services from your existing bus stops.

Sunday trips will use the current weekday and Saturday travel pattern. This means all route 565 trips will stop at the same stops, all week.

  • The route has been renumbered to 580 and extended to service Meadowbrook, providing direct access to Griffith University (Logan Campus), Logan Hospital and Loganlea TAFE.
  • We've added 95 new trips each week to improve service frequency.
  • Operating hours have been extended:
    • Monday to Friday - 7am to 9pm

New stops in Bahrs Scrub

Bahrs Scrub now has direct access to public transport for the first time, with four new bus stops serviced by route 563.
