We make our scheduling and real-time data available to developers so they may create innovative tools for our customers. This is the same data we use in journey planner and the Translink app.
Schedule data
Schedule data is the blueprint of our network. It contains the planned timetables, route paths, and stopping patterns for all our services.
The General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) defines a common format for public transport schedules and associated geographic information.
Our GTFS schedules cover bus, train, ferry and tram services in South East Queensland and our regional bus services.
Visual assets
You can download visual assets used across our network, such as symbols and pictograms, from our asset portal for use in your own products.
Real-time data
Real-time data provides a live snapshot of what is happening on the network right now. It can be layered on the schedule to show whether vehicles are running on time.
This data is provided in the General Transit Feed Specification - Realtime (GTFS Realtime) v2.0 format, encoded in Google's Protobuf format, as per the GTFS real-time specification. Our implementation of GTFS-RT v2 is based on this gtfs-realtime.proto version protobuf definition.
Our GTFS real-time feeds must be used in conjunction with GTFS schedules.
Access our data
Our data is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Authentication is not required to use the feed.
