If you register your go card, we'll hold your personal information on a secure central system and link it to the serial number of your go card.

Register your go card to:
- protect your money
- check your balance or transaction history
- set up auto top-up
- top up online or over the phone
- request a balance transfer
- submit an incorrect fare enquiry
You can register your go card:
- online
- at over 100 go card locations
- by phoning 13 12 30
- fill in a registration application form (PDF, 202KB) and mail it to us.
To change your online password, log into your go card account online and click on the 'contact info' tab. Then click 'edit' to update your details. Or, call us on 13 12 30.
Registering a go card for someone else
To register a go card, where you are the account holder and someone else is the authorised user, phone 13 12 30 or complete an application form and mail it to us.
Registering a child go card
You cannot register a child go card online - call 13 12 30.
The child must be nominated as the authorised user, and the account holder must be 15 years of age or older.
Things you need to know
When you buy or register a go card, you will need to nominate the account holder and the authorised user.
- Account holder - is the person who is responsible for the fares, fees and other charges. This person will be able to log into the website or call us to make enquires about the account.
- Authorised user - is the person who uses the go card to travel.
The account holder and card holder can be the same person, or may be different people, such as parent (account holder) and child (card holder).
