Changes to Mains Road park 'n' ride
We're funding the construction of a new multi-storey park ‘n’ ride facility, being delivered in conjunction with the Queensland Government’s new State Netball Centre, at Mains and Kessels Roads, Nathan.
This upgrade will ultimately provide 680 car parks, making it one of Queensland’s largest park ‘n' ride facilities.
Construction of the park ‘n’ ride facility began in April 2017 and is due to be completed by mid-2018, weather and construction conditions permitting.
Impact on carpark availability
Due to the netball centre's footprint, the existing Mains Road park ‘n’ ride facility will be affected with less carparks available.
We're working closely with Stadiums Queensland to reduce impacts during construction, however there will be an unavoidable reduction in parking during the following timeframes:
Mid May 2017 - mid 2018
Up to 50% per cent reduction in carparks
